Muppets Backstage set, NECA NMBC reviews

It's a huge month for the Muppets, with Sweetums, Jim Henson, Santa Chef, series 9 and today's review, the Back Stage play set all hitting. The set is a tad expensive at fifty bucks, but it's huge with lots of pegs for hanging tons of older accessories. It also includes the signature version of Rowlf, a figure folks have been waiting for a long time.

The guest review from Jeff Parker covers the 12" Medicom figure from the Tim Burton classic Edward Scissorhands. That ties in nicely with my Poop Shoot review of the new NECA Nightmare Before Christmas figures of Jack, Sally, Mayor and Vampire! Check out all the reviews at the usual:

I am wondering how many playsets they released?

I have:
Pigs in Space
Swedish Chef kitchen
Beaker's lab

What did they make in between those and the Backstage set?

That's it! There's only the four. A Vet's Hospital would have rocked, but we still may get the set of figures.

I thought I missed a set.

I thought I read about sets other than the vet hospital that were going to be made...any other sets that didn't make it past the drawing board?

The only other one I can think of off the top of my head is the stage itself, complete with balcony for Statler and Waldorf. And how cool (and expensive) would that be?
